Ahmed Rilwan Abdulla (@moyameehaa) a Maldivian Journalist has been missing since 8 August 2014. He was last seen on CCTV at the Hulhumale' ferry terminal.

He was wearing a black shirt, black trousers, black shoes with white soles and carrying a black backpack.
Rilwan is 28 years old, of medium build and 5 feet 10 inches tall, sporting a short beard and moustache.

A Minivan News journalist, Ahmed Rilwan Abdulla, 28 years old, has been reported as missing to the Police. Media sources state that he was last seen on Thursday, 7 August 2014.

The Maldives Journalist Association calls on all relevant authorities to make an extra effort to clarify the whereabouts of Ahmed Rilwan Abdulla. The Association expresses grave concern over recent incidents of threats sent through text messages to local journalists. The Association calls on all parties to refrain from obstructing a free and independent media in the Maldives.
